The main users of industrial and mine electric locomotives in the domestic market are coal mines and metal mining enterprises, accounting for more than 95%, followed by water conservancy engineering, tunnel engineering and other industries accounting for about 5%. According to the industry situation learned in recent years, the annual demand for industrial and mine electric locomotives is about 1,500 units, which is far from the production capacity of 3,000 units, and the production tasks of enterprises are seriously insufficient.

With the state's management and rectification of mining, the state of operation of state-owned and local mines has improved, so the demand for industrial and mine electric locomotives has rebounded to a certain extent, but the underground transportation of large and medium-sized coal mines has changed to the belt conveyor mode. The demand for industrial and mining electric locomotives has a great impact. It has been learned from various aspects that in recent years, major coal mining industry users have not imported projects for industrial and mine electric locomotives. For this reason, the current domestic market demand will not fluctuate greatly. 150-ton or above standard rail industrial and mining electric locomotives are only used in the large-scale open-pit mining transportation industry, and there is only 2 to 3 supplementary demand each year. If there is no new investment in the construction of large-scale open-pit mining projects, the demand will not increase.
