Requirements for maintenance of dowty retarder of railway vehicles

1.Use a torque wrench to check the tightening torque of the pressure valve seat, which should meet the requirements of relevant technical documents.

2.The technical parameters of speed valve opening, speed valve spring, pressure valve opening pressure, oil filling amount and inflation pressure (when the elastomer is gas) of the dowty retardershall comply with the provisions of relevant technical documents.

3.The hydraulic oil injected into the sliding cylinder shall comply with the relevant provisions of TB / T 2460.

4.The oil and gas pressure of the sliding oil cylinder assembly of the dowty retarder (when the elastomer is gas), shall comply with the provisions of relevant technical documents.

5.Conduct on-off and on-off test for the controlled top control valve after maintenance, and its performance shall meet the requirements of relevant technical documents.
