In order to clarify the functional relationship between the components inside the dowty retarder, we carefully analyzed the structure and functional principle of the dowty retarder, and obtained the functional relationship between the components in the specific working process of the dowty retarder.
In addition, through the practical analysis of the dowty retarder which has been damaged for a long time, we summarize the various failure phenomena of the dowty retarder, some of which occur occasionally, some of which have little impact on the system, but some of which are frequent and fatal to the system, which directly leads to the loss of dowty retarder function.Due to the limitation of time, the design of the test-bed can not be manufactured, so many experimental data can not be obtained.
