LED has low photoelectric conversion efficiency, most of the electricity is maily converted into heat energy. With the wide application of LED ming lamps, people put higer demands on the power. if the heat can not transmitted effectively, it will seriously affect the using lif of LED mining lamps.
Problems caused by LED higer chip junction teperature:
1.Reduced light intensity
2.Spectral shift
3.Increased color temperature
4.Increased thermal stress
5.Component accelerated aging
Two aspects of LED cooling technology:
1.Heat dissipation in LED chips, involves the packaging technology of devices.
2.External power dissipation of LED power chip, mainly involves the heat conduction of the substrate and the convection heat exchange with the ambient air.
The solution of mining lamps cooling:
LED external heatsinks need to solve three levels of heat trans problems when LED internal thermal resistance is not considered.1. Concentrate the heat of the high-power concentrated heating body to effectively absorb and diffuse through the low thermal resistance of the pedestal, form relatively low heat flow heat.
2.Trans fer heat relatively low heat flux density to the body of thermal module as efficiently as possible, to make the LED surface temperature as uniform as possible.
3.Optimize the natural air convection heat dissipation of the thermal module.
