The on-line fault detection system of dowty retarder mainly consists of special shell, pressure sensor, wireless transmitting module, a / D conversion module, wireless receiving module, data storage and processing module, screen display and operation module, power supply module, etc. In the specific application, four dowty retarder devices can be placed in the front section of each track in the marshalling station. When it needs to be detected, it carries the portable server and power module to the site to connect the power for four terminals. The server and each detection terminal communicate through ZigBee wireless network.

The on-line terminal of dowty retarder is responsible for the front processing, collection and transmission of pressure data. The power supply of the detection terminal is portable battery, which is connected with the terminal through direct plug-in, simple and convenient. The battery is designed to last for 8 hours.

The server is responsible for receiving the data sent by each terminal, making calculation and judgment, and saving the calculation results.
