Railway Tamping Machine Use And Maintenance Precautions

1. Newly activated, long-term deactivated or potentially damp railway tamping machines should measure insulation resistance before use.

2. Before each use, check the parts and tighten the screws.

3. Before the work, carefully check whether the cable is damaged or not. The grounding of the chassis is reliable. Check the grease of the bearing every 100 hours. If necessary, add oil. Change it every 1000 hours and check the bearing wear regularly.

4. During operation, check the bearing and the temperature of the winding is too high.

5. Railway tamping machines that are not used for a long time should be stored in a dry warehouse and should not be in contact with corrosive gases or chemicals.
